You are welcome to join us in-person, or worship with us via Zoom at 10 am each Sunday morning. The service lasts about an hour. If you would like to receive a personal invitation to our Zoom Worship, contact the Pastor, Reverend Abby Gackenheimer, or the church office.
*If you are fully vaccinated, masks are optional. Pews continue to be taped off to help with social distancing.*
Congregational singing and the music offered by our excellent choir are also key components of our hour together each week. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and all are welcome to participate.
After worship, there is a time of fellowship, with coffee and tea served with some tasty nibbles while people share news about their lives with friends. There is usually also a Bible Study offered from 11:30 to 12:30 back in the sanctuary.
Music Ministry and Choir
Our music ministry is a vital part of our life together. During the pandemic, when it is not possible for the choir to meet, individuals with musical talent have volunteered to sing or play and instrument as special music during our service. And although group singing together is difficult on Zoom because of varying internet speeds, we have persisted because people like to sing and singing together is another way to break the isolation we all feel right now.
When we can come back together safely, choir will resume with practice on Wednesday night from 7pm - 8:30. Our choir director, Maggi Heilweil, is the principal instructor of the Heilweil Vocal Arts Studio and has earned the dedicated loyalty of members of this excellent small choir.
