Welcome Back Sunday & Ice Cream Social!

Join us next Sunday, September 7th as we celebrate Welcome Back Sunday! We’ll gather in worship to bless and welcome back our Sunday School children and youth, our teachers, and our choir as a new season of ministry and music begins.

Following worship, everyone is invited to stay for a festive Ice Cream Social in the Friendship Hall. Come enjoy sweet treats, reconnect with friends, and share in the joy of beginning this new season together.

All are welcome—bring your family, neighbors, and friends!

Join us for a special evening of music as our community comes together for a Fundraising Concert for the church! The program will feature a diverse group of talented musicians of all ages, sharing their gifts through a variety of musical styles. From youthful energy to seasoned artistry, this concert promises something for everyone.

Come enjoy the music, support your faith community, and celebrate the joy of community!

Tickets sales will start in September. Cash/Check/CC will also be accepted at the door.

The garden’s mission statement is as follows: The Garden is dedicated to creating a vibrant, inclusive space where residents of all ages can grow vegetables and flowers, foster environmental stewardship, build meaningful community connections, and support local food pantries through shared gardening experiences.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

We’re a member church of the United Church of Christ, which is a mainline Protestant denomination that emerged from the Protestant Reformation and found root in the earliest days of the American Republic. This particular congregation dates back to 1803.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

One of the marks of a vibrant church is the ability for both children and adults to become mature in their faith. As Paul put it, “so we shall all come together to that oneness in our faith and until all of us are united in the faith and in the full knowledge of the Son of God.”

COMMUNITY

One of the great strengths of Bridgewater Congregational church is its extensive involvement in the community both in terms of reaching out to communities in charitable work and in inviting community groups into our church to help sustain their own programs and objectives.
